The Vision
I create at the intersection of what is seen, heard, and felt. My work is a study in atmospheric storytelling, where I don’t just capture images, I build entire sonic and visual worlds. As a filmmaker, music producer, and poet, I view art as a bridge between the physical and the psychic. By blending the precision of video production with the fluidity of poetry, I create immersive, multisensory environments that explore the architecture of the human psyche and the invisible threads connecting identity, time, and the inner child.

With a career spanning international projects in Poland, US, Malaysia, Georgia, Iran and Mexico, I bring a global perspective to every frame and frequency. My portfolio is a testament to the power of integrated media, where professional cinematography and evocative poetry converge to tell stories that linger. I believe that a video is only as deep as its silence, and my work continues to push the boundaries of new media through installations that challenge how we perceive our own stories and ideas of existence.
The Sonic Identity
As a music producer, my sound serves as the emotional pulse of my creative practice. My journey began in Iran, where I was drawn to the mystical compositions of traditional legends and the trance-inducing rhythms of the Tanbour. Today, my work as amirpiloo, comprising five albums and an EP, is a fusion of those cultural roots with a modern electronic edge, influenced by the likes of Daft Punk, John Carpenter, and Moby.
I focus on the semiotics of sound, using experimental soundscapes and hypnotic beats to drive narrative tension. Driven by themes of romanticism, humanity’s complexities, and a childlike sense of wonder, I craft soulful melodies designed to stir profound emotions. Whether I am producing a track or directing a cinematic piece, my goal is to create a “living” experience where the audience is the final, essential ingredient.
PILOO
Central to this philosophy is the name PILOO, an abbreviation drawn from a Persian concept meaning “following the singular moment of existence.” This phrase serves as the compass for my entire creative output. It is a reminder to anchor my work in the absolute present, capturing the raw, fleeting essence of a feeling before it slips away, and translating that exact micro-moment into a universal sensory experience.
